Join us for Tokyo Humanities Café #27, an evening of accessible and engaging talks on literature, society, history, and contemporary culture.
This event brings together three distinguished speakers to explore questions of social division, empathy, and storytelling:
Keiichiro Hirano (novelist)
"How to Overcome Division"
Kimiyo Ogawa (literary scholar)
"What Can Literature Do in a Careless Society?"
Tom Ue (historian and literary scholar)
"Second Chances in the Sherlock Holmes Stories"
Following the talks, there will be an opportunity for questions and conversation with speakers and audience members.
